Our Story

Jesus Scholarship Foundation Inc. (JSF) was founded in 2004 by Brigida Santiago, a single mother whose faith and dedication to her son's education became the catalyst for a larger mission. The journey began when Brigida faced a financial challenge during her church-building project in the Philippines. This challenge prevented her from continuing her son's education in a Christian school. Through a miraculous provision, a stranger sponsored her son's education, an act of kindness & obedience to God’s prompting that deeply moved Brigida’s faith in God .  During prayer, she envisioned a group of students of various ages, and it was then that God placed on her heart the calling to establish a scholarship foundation for poor children in the Philippines.

Since then, JSF has been committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and illiteracy by providing educational scholarships and spiritual support to those in need. Through the grace of God and the support of faithful partners, JSF continues to change lives and offer hope for a brighter future.
